PROGRAM: Kennedy Catholic’s Varsity Cheer Squad is made up of students in grades 9-12.  The team supports Boys Varsity Football in the fall and Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball in the winter continuing a 30-year tradition dedicated to support Lancer Life.  

TRYOUTS: Kennedy Catholic’s Varsity Cheer Program holds tryouts in the spring. We allow 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade girls and boys to try out.

TEAM ANNOUNCED: The team will be announced on the last day of tryouts.  An e-mail announcing the team will be sent to all participants. 

PRACTICES: Our cheer squad practices start in the spring and continue through to the end of basketball season. We take breaks in the summer to allow for summer fun/travel.  We do, however, attend a weeklong Cheer Camp every summer that is mandatory.

COMMUNICATION: Coach Etzkorn uses the Remind App to communicate with the team.  The class code will be shared after the squad is selected.
