Football

PROGRAM: Welcome to Lancer Football!  The football program at Kennedy Catholic consists of two teams: Varsity and Development.

The Varsity team is comprised of returning Varsity letter earners and new players capable of playing at the varsity level.  In our program, all grades are able to play Varsity Football as long as it is safe and the players are ready.

The Development team will include incoming freshmen and players new to the game of football.  We want everyone to have the opportunity to participate – the Development team places high importance on players learning the game while competing with and against players of similar experience.  During the season, the Development team will compete in games noted as ‘C-Team’ on the schedule.

Due to the nature of football, we will only place players in positions where coaches feel they are capable and will have the most success.  Kennedy Catholic competes in the North Puget Sound League (NPSL) at the 4A level.

REGISTRATION: Registration for football is open.  Interested student-athletes must be registered online and have a current sports physical on file in order to participate on the first day.

FALL CAMP AND REGULAR SEASON: The 2026-27 football season officially begins on Wednesday, August 19 – both Varsity and Development players must attend.

Practices will be held Monday through Friday on the KCHS field.

Home games are played at Highline Memorial Stadium, 400 S 156th Street, Burien WA 98148.

COACHING STAFF: The head coach for the football program is Pat Jones.    Our Development team is headed by Coach Tim Stallworth.

COMMUNICATION: Be in the loop. Coach Jones uses Parent Square to communicate with the team.  Information on how to join will be shared after the rosters are set.
