PROGRAM: The Kennedy Catholic Boys’ Water Polo Program offers varsity level competition, and junior varsity competition depending on our numbers for the season to fill a JV roster. Water Polo is a cut sport. The Water Polo team competes in the Puget Sound Water Polo League (PSWPL) at the Division 1 Level. TRYOUTS: Tryouts will take place August 25th-27th at Tukwila Pool from 8:00-9:30 PM on August 25th and 7:30-9:30 pm August 26th and 27th. Players should arrive in athletic clothes and bring the following: competition swimsuit (speedo or jammers – no loose trunks or swim shirts), swim goggles, and a water bottle.Â
Rosters will be announced via Remind and email on Wednesday August 27th after practice. Â
PRACTICES/GAMES: Practice and games all occur off-campus at Tukwila Pool (4414 S 144th St). Regular practices are 7:30-9:30 PM, Mon-Fri, at Tukwila Pool.Â
Home games will be at Tukwila Pool, 8:20 PM game start time. Players will be expected at the pool at 7:15 PM to set up and warm up.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Water Polo is a physical and demanding sport that requires proficiency in both swimming ability and the ability to tread water for a prolonged period of time. Athletes benefit from prior experience, or experience in contact sports and other aquatic sports. All boys are welcome and encouraged to try out.Â
